By Justin Lethbridge Writer It wasn’t just the temperatures that were sizzling on the weekend with the opening of the Champion of Champions Powwow and dancers that thrilled the thousands who attended the two day long event. Despite temperatures that sat in the 30’s all weekend, hundreds of craft and food vendors filled a forested marketplace while powwow dancers from across the country competed for prizes. The event required Six Nations police to manage traffic at Highway 54 and Chiefswood Road as visitors packed both the on-site parking at Chiefswood Park and off site locations like Tourism and Six Nations Bingo.
